Translucence Biosystems hosts Lunch and Learn Event in Partnership with the UC Berkeley Molecular Imaging Core

Translucence Biosystems hosted an informative Lunch and Learn event in collaboration with the Molecular Imaging Center at the UC Berkeley Cancer Research Lab on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025.

The interactive event format allowed attendees to explore light sheet imaging and 3D histology best practices while discussing practical applications of 3D tissue clearing techniques in their biological research during a Q&A session. Product Innovation and Business Development Manager Nathaniel Guanzon walked attendees through 3D tissue clearing and staining methodologies, common protocols, and best practices, highlighting how these methods excel in whole-brain analysis and intact tissue sample evaluation.

The presentation covered key areas including 3D Tissue Clearing, 3D Tissue Imaging, 3D Light Sheet Image Stitching, and 3D AI-Powered Quantification. Guanzon also showcased the innovative tools and technologies that Translucence Biosystems is developing to democratize these techniques, such as our BRAIN-Initiative funded Tissue Clearing Kits and 3D ML-powered Quantification services.
