Translucence Biosystems recently attended and sponsored the Fluorescence Advanced Imaging Research (FLAIR) Workshop, held January 12–15, 2026, at the University of California, Irvine. The workshop was a combination of UC Irvine’s Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics (LFD) workshop and UC Berkeley’s Advanced Imaging Methods (AIM) workshop.
During the event, the Translucence team connected with researchers building advanced microscopy workflows and shared guidance on sample preparation, imaging, and analysis for 3D histology. The team also hosted live daily demonstrations of the Mesoscale Imaging System™ on the ZEISS Lightsheet Z.1 at UC Irvine’s Optical Biology Core Facility.
At FLAIR, Translucence discussed how it is helping enable the next-generation histology shift toward intact-tissue, 3D workflows through an integrated suite of products, services, and software spanning tissue clearing and staining, light sheet imaging, large-volume stitching, and downstream quantification. Translucence’s offerings include tissue clearing kits, the Mesoscale Imaging System™ for acquisition, Stitchy™ for 3D stitching, and full-pipeline services.
Researchers who met the team at FLAIR or who would like support planning or troubleshooting a clearing-to-analysis workflow can contact Translucence Biosystems at info@translucencebio.com.
