Translucence Biosystems recently hosted an engaging Brunch and Learn event in partnership with the UC San Diego School of Medicine Microscopy Core. The session welcomed faculty, researchers, and students for an introduction to tissue clearing methodologies, best practices, and examples of practical applications across various research domains, followed by a Q&A portion.
Attendees learned about 3D tissue clearing and staining protocols and how these methodologies facilitate quantitative insights in whole-brain and intact tissue samples. Product Innovation and Business Development Manager, Nathaniel Guanzon, followed with best practices for 3D Tissue Imaging, 3D Light Sheet Image Stitching, and 3D AI-Powered Quantification, sharing the tools and technologies Translucence Biosystems is developing to expand access to 3D tissue clearing and AI-powered quantification to all researchers. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with CEO Damian Wheeler and Chief Information Officer Philip Cheung who were in attendance.
This Brunch and Learn event is part of an ongoing educational events series that aims to partner with leading research institutions like UC San Diego and expand access to cutting-edge tissue clearing and light sheet imaging technologies.
Translucence Biosystems appreciated the opportunity to connect with the UC San Diego research community and demonstrate how tissue clearing can enhance their biological research
