Translucence Biosystems Announces Collaboration with Bruker to Advance Accessible Whole-Organ 3D Imaging

Translucence Biosystems is excited to announce a commercial partnership with Bruker to streamline cleared-tissue workflows for the greater scientific community. By combining Translucence’s reagent technology and clearing expertise with Bruker’s light-sheet fluorescence microscopy and data-processing platforms, this partnership addresses the end-to-end operational bottlenecks in whole-organ imaging to help researchers obtain actionable insights from intact biological tissues.

At Translucence Biosystems, our goal is to make high-quality 3D histology more accessible, reproducible, and practical for researchers. We developed the Universal Tissue Clearing Kit to remove common barriers researchers encounter in the sample-preparation stage; it supports user-defined antibodies, requires no specialized equipment, and enables standardized clearing workflows in typical laboratory environments.

The collaboration connects every stage of the 3D imaging pipeline: pairing Translucence’s Universal Tissue Clearing Kit with Bruker’s MuVi SPIM and LCS SPIM light-sheet microscopes, LuxBundle Software, the Acquifer HIVE data platform, and Translucence Quantification Services.

 Through this combined workflow, researchers will be able to more effectively scale 3D tissue clearing studies with improved reproducibility, reduced technical complexity, and a more seamless path from sample preparation to quantitative insight.

Translucence Biosystems Attends 2025 Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting

Translucence Biosystems participated in the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting, held November 15–19, 2025, in San Diego, California. The team hosted booth #3224, where they connected with the neuroscience community and discussed how tissue clearing can help accelerate neuroscience research. The team also presented five posters showcasing advancements in high-resolution whole-brain clearing, imaging, and analysis. Together, these posters highlighted tools and techniques that address the limitations of traditional histology, including tissue clearing, light sheet imaging, AI-powered 3D quantification, and cloud-based platforms that enable comprehensive whole-brain and organ-level insights at scale.
