Translucence Biosystems is enabling a revolution in tissue histology, developing new tools, reagents, assays and know-how for 3D next-generation imaging of intact tissues.

We provide researchers and clinicians with fast, reliable and complete 3D analysis of their biological samples.

Our powerful workflow combines our unique expertise in tissue clearing, light sheet imaging, computational 3D reconstruction and machine learning-based image analysis, to dramatically increase access to the intricate three dimensional structure of the brain and other complex organs.

Founded in, 2018, we occupy engineering and wet-lab space at TechPortal at Calit2 on the UC Irvine campus and at the new University Lab Partners incubator.
